Bodywork repair in Antalya depends on the extent of the damage: minor damage takes 1–3 days, moderate damage takes 5–7 days, and major damage takes 2–4 weeks. We straighten dents and dings at our workshop in Kepez Akdeniz Sanayi and paint them under the same roof in an oven-baked booth. Because pricing depends on the damage, we provide an initial quote with photos; in-person assessment at the workshop is free.
Send a photo of the damage, and we will provide an initial price and timeframe. Assessment at the workshop is free.
What is bodywork repair, and what does it cover?
Bodywork refers to the exterior sheet metal of the vehicle: doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid, roof, and rocker panels. Bodywork repair involves straightening dents, dings, and impact deformations on these panels and preparing the surface for painting. If paint is not applied after straightening, the repair remains incomplete; that is why bodywork and paint are planned together.
At our workshop, we carry out: painted dent repair and panel straightening, repair of totaled or damaged vehicles, body filler and primer, followed by oven-baked auto paint. When searching for a "body shop" online, it helps to ask about this full scope, because some shops only do straightening while others only do paint; moving the vehicle between separate shops is risky in terms of both time and color match.
Please note: We do not perform paintless dent repair (PDR). In our shop, dents are repaired by straightening the panel followed by body filler, primer, and paint. For minor dents where the paint layer has not been damaged, we may need to refer you to another service.

How long does bodywork repair take?
The duration depends on the extent of the damage and how many panels are affected. The timeframes below are our current estimates; we will state the exact number of days after seeing the damage.
| Damage type | Example | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Minor damage | Parking scuffs, small dents, limited damage on a single panel | 1–3 days |
| Moderate damage | Dents across multiple panels, door and fender repair | 5–7 days |
| Major damage | Extensive deformation after an accident, totaled vehicle | 2–4 weeks |
The painting stage usually takes 1–2 days per panel. In major damage, the main factors extending the timeframe are sourcing replacement parts and surface preparation after straightening.
When should you visit a body shop?
Not every dent is urgent, but in certain situations, waiting increases the cost. It is sensible to have the car inspected if you notice any of these signs:
- A door, hood, or trunk lid does not close properly after an accident or impact
- Panel gaps (the spacing between door and fender, for instance) are uneven or misaligned
- The paint has cracked, flaked off, or exposed bare metal; bare metal rusts over time
- The dent is located on a body contour line or the sheet metal is sharply creased
- You want to avoid issues during a pre-sale inspection
The best thing to do right after an accident is to photograph the damage from different angles and bring the vehicle to our workshop without straining it, or send the photos to us. If you are unsure whether the vehicle is drivable, please call first.
How are bodywork repair prices determined?
It is not accurate to give a single figure for bodywork, because two dents that look identical may cost different amounts. Key factors influencing the price include:
- The size of the damage and number of damaged panels
- How the sheet metal is deformed: a shallow ding or an impact distorting body contour lines
- Whether the panel can be repaired or needs replacement
- The number of panels to be painted after repair and the complexity of the paint finish
As a reference for the paint portion: door painting is 3,500–6,000 TL, fenders 4,000–7,000 TL, hood or roof 5,000–10,000 TL, and bumpers 2,500–5,000 TL. Bodywork straightening labor is added on top of this and varies by damage. When you send photos of the damage via WhatsApp, we will list which items are needed. How does the bodywork repair process work?
- AssessmentThe damaged area is inspected on site. We determine which parts can be repaired and which need replacement. Free at the workshop.
- DisassemblyNecessary components (bumpers, moldings, interior trim) are removed so the back of the damaged panel is visible.
- Panel straighteningThe damaged sheet metal is reshaped according to its original lines and contours.
- Body filler and primerRemaining surface imperfections are smoothed with fine body filler, followed by primer application. Details are covered on our body filler and primer processes page.
- PaintThe color is matched according to the color code, and the panel is painted in a dust-free oven booth using PPG or Standox paint.
- Reassembly and deliveryComponents are reinstalled, gaps and surface finishes are inspected, and the vehicle is delivered.

Should bodywork and paint be done together or separately?
Together, whenever possible. If the shop doing the bodywork and the shop applying the paint are separate, both parties handle filler and primer thickness, surface preparation, and color matching independently; when issues arise, responsibility becomes divided. In the same workshop, the work is handled end-to-end under one roof, leaving no question about accountability.
This also clarifies what you are looking for when searching for "car bodywork" or "bodywork and paint": most of the time, both straightening and paint are required. If paint alone is sufficient, we can tell you from photos; for example, for surface scratches, scratch repair and touch-up or spot repair painting may be more suitable and economical.
Repair or panel replacement?
The general rule is: if the sheet metal has stretched but not torn, repair is possible; if there is tearing, sharp folding, or severe deformation in a structural area, replacement becomes necessary. Repair is often more economical and preserves the original structure of the panel. When replacement is needed, forcing a repair can lead to problems later on, such as paint cracking or wavy surfaces. We will clearly tell you which is needed once we inspect the damage.
How do you recognize a good body shop?
- Explains the work item by item after seeing the damage, rather than claiming "everything must be replaced."
- Recommends repairing parts where possible and replacing only where necessary.
- Paints in its own booth or is able to show you the booth.
- Quotes the timeframe and price upfront without adding surprise fees mid-job.
- Allows you to check panel gaps and color matching together upon delivery.

Tip: When taking damage photos, send a close-up of the damage, a shot of the entire vehicle from a distance, and an angled side shot of the damaged panel. An angled shot reveals the depth of the dent, helping us provide an accurate initial quote.
What does the vehicle owner do during bodywork repair?
When you show us the damage, we discuss the assessment findings, the required work, and the estimated duration together. Work begins once you approve; you can check in via WhatsApp at any point, and we always reply to your messages. Upon delivery, the vehicle is inspected together with you: panel gaps, paint color, and surface finish. If you are having an insurance collision repair done, bring along your claim file and policy details; for details, see our insurance damage repair article.
Most common types of bodywork and paint damage
Most vehicles arriving at our workshop fall into three categories: parking scuffs and minor dings, moderate dents on a single panel such as a door or fender, and collision damage affecting multiple panels. The first group is typically completed in a few days; for the last group, we first evaluate the full extent of the damage and draw up a repair plan. We can usually tell which category the damage falls into from photos.

Minor damage takes 1–3 days, moderate damage takes 5–7 days, and major damage takes 2–4 weeks. The exact timeframe is provided after inspecting the damage.
Is paint applied after bodywork repair?
Yes. The straightened panel is painted after body filler and primer. Because bodywork and paint are handled in the same workshop, color matching and surface quality are overseen end-to-end.
How is the bodywork price determined?
It is based on the extent of the damage, the number of affected panels, deformation of the sheet metal, and panels to be painted after repair. We provide an initial quote with photos; in-person assessment at the workshop is free.
Do you do paintless dent repair?
No, we do not perform paintless dent repair (PDR). We repair dents with panel straightening, body filler, primer, and paint.
Spot repair, single-panel painting, or complete vehicle painting?

Yes, we repair totaled and accident-damaged vehicles. For major damage, the duration is usually 2–4 weeks; we do not give an exact timeframe without seeing the vehicle.
