Antalya Complete Vehicle Painting

Oven-baked complete vehicle painting service to restore your car to its original condition or give it an entirely new identity.

Quick answer

Complete vehicle painting at our workshop ranges between 25,000–80,000 TL and usually takes 5–10 days. The reason for the wide range is vehicle size, color change requests, whether door jambs are painted, and current damage condition. At our workshop in Kepez Akdeniz Sanayi Sitesi industrial estate, we work in a dust-free baking booth with PPG and Standox paint; we provide an initial quote with photos.

The most common surprise when searching for "complete vehicle painting prices" is seeing figures range from 25 thousand to 80 thousand. This is not a mistake; jobs bearing the same name can actually be very different. Below, we explain what causes this difference.

What determines the complete painting price?

The complete painting price is the sum of the surface area to be painted and the preparation labor required for that surface. In general, four factors stand out:

  • Color change: If keeping the same color, the exterior surface is painted. If you want to change the color, visible interior surfaces such as door jambs, under the hood, and trunk edges must also be painted; otherwise, the old color is visible when you open the door. This increases both materials and turnaround time.
  • Door jambs and details: Whether surfaces like door jambs, under the hood, and trunk interior are painted significantly affects the price.
  • Damage condition: If there are dents, rust, peeling, or flaking paint, bodywork, body filler, and primer are required first. The worse the surface, the longer the preparation takes.
  • Vehicle size and color type: Larger vehicles require more paint and labor. Metallic and pearlescent colors generally require more workmanship than solid colors.

This is why we do not give an exact figure without seeing the vehicle. If you send photos, we will provide an initial quote; assessment at the workshop is free.

Send photos of the vehicle from four sides, and we will provide an initial quote and estimated turnaround time. In-person assessment at the workshop is free.

When is complete painting needed?

Complete painting is not the right choice for every vehicle. It makes sense in the following situations:

  • If there is widespread fading or clear coat dulling on the roof, hood, and trunk
  • If the car's color tone is uneven due to multiple previous spot repairs
  • If you want to change the vehicle's color
  • If paint is being redone from scratch on a classic car or restoration project (see classic car restoration)

If damage is limited to a single area, complete painting is an unnecessary expense. In that case, spot repair painting or panel painting is sufficient. To clarify your choice, you can read our article on spot repair vs complete painting.

Note: On a completely painted vehicle, painted panels will appear in the inspection report. If preserving the original paint is important for resale value, consider spot repair or panel painting before deciding on complete painting.

How does complete vehicle painting proceed?

Complete painting is not a one-day job; most of the time is spent on preparation.

  1. AssessmentThe vehicle is inspected on-site. Paint condition, bodywork needs, and color preferences are discussed; duration and price are clarified.
  2. DisassemblyParts such as headlights, taillights, trim moldings, and door handles are removed; windows are masked off.
  3. Surface preparationOld paint is sanded down, and body filler and primer are applied where needed. Surface smoothness is determined at this stage.
  4. Paint and clear coatPPG or Standox paint is prepared according to the original color code and applied in a dust-free baking booth.
  5. BakingThe paint is cured in the oven.
  6. Reassembly and polishingParts are reinstalled, the surface is inspected, and polishing is done if necessary.
  7. DeliveryWe inspect the vehicle together in daylight. At delivery, our delivery inspection checklist is useful.

How many days does complete painting take?

Usually 5–10 days. If the vehicle is in good shape and the color remains the same, it stays near the lower end; if bodywork is needed or interior surfaces are also painted for a color change, it approaches the upper end. If damage is extensive, the turnaround time may increase further; in that case, we provide a clear schedule after assessment. For general information on turnaround times, see our article on how long auto painting takes.

Care after complete painting

New paint is sensitive during the first few weeks. You can wash it 7 days after delivery; avoid stiff brushes, close-range pressure washing, and abrasive products during the initial weeks. Do not leave chemical contaminants like bird droppings and tree sap on the surface for long. Instead of waxing or polishing the paint in the first months, wait for the period recommended by your technician.

Questions to ask yourself before complete painting

Complete painting involves both a substantial budget and being without your car for several days; therefore, clarifying the decision with a few questions is helpful.

  • Is the damage widespread or in a single area? Complete painting is usually unnecessary for damage in a single area.
  • Do you want a color change? If yes, door jambs and similar surfaces enter the plan; price and duration change accordingly.
  • Are you planning to sell the vehicle? Painted panels appear during inspection; prepare an explanation for potential buyers.
  • What is the condition of the bodywork? If there are dents or rust, bodywork repair is needed first; factor this into the overall cost.
  • How many days can your car stay at the workshop? Plan alternative transportation for a 5–10 day period.

If your answers to these questions are not clear, send photos of the vehicle. We will openly tell you whether complete painting, panel painting, or spot repair makes more sense; we never recommend unnecessary work.

What to consider during a color change?

Changing a vehicle's color does not end with painting only the exterior. If you do not want the old color visible when opening a door, the hood, or the trunk, interior surfaces are also painted. When choosing a color, view a physical sample or painted panel swatch in daylight if possible; colors on screens and catalogs do not fully reflect the actual look on a car. Darker colors make scratches and swirl marks more noticeable, while lighter shades are more forgiving; this is worth keeping in mind when deciding.

Common mistakes in complete painting

  • Looking only at price: Very low quotes are usually achieved by masking instead of dismantling parts, applying thin body filler, and rushing drying times. Peeling and fading may not show in the first month, but they will appear later.
  • Not clarifying the scope: Are door jambs, under the hood, and trunk interior included? Is disassembly performed? What paint brand is used? These should be confirmed in writing or via message.
  • Discovering bodywork needs at the last minute: Hidden dents and rust found after painting will delay delivery. Request a complete vehicle inspection during the initial assessment.
  • Rushing delivery inspection: Check the vehicle in daylight, comparing all panels.

Frequently asked questions about complete vehicle painting

How much does complete vehicle painting cost?

It ranges between 25,000–80,000 TL. Vehicle size, color change, whether door jambs will be painted, and the current damage condition determine the price. We provide an initial quote with photos; the exact price is clarified after assessment.

How long does complete painting take?

It usually takes 5–10 days. The duration may be longer if bodywork is required or if interior surfaces are also painted for a color change.

Why is there such a wide price range for complete vehicle painting?

Because complete painting can be done in very different scopes depending on the size of the vehicle, whether there is a color change, whether interior surfaces such as door jambs are painted, and how much surface preparation is required.

Is it possible to change the color?

Yes. A color change can be done during complete painting. Since door jambs and similar interior surfaces will also be painted, the price and duration increase; we discuss this upfront.

Does complete painting affect the vehicle's value?

It is normal for painted panels to show up in the inspection report on a completely painted vehicle. If you want to preserve the original paint, spot repair or panel painting may be more suitable.

When can I wash the vehicle after painting?

You can wash it 7 days after delivery.

Can I get a quote from photos for complete painting?

Yes, we can provide an initial quote. Take photos of all four sides of the vehicle, scratches, and damaged areas, and send them via WhatsApp. For an exact figure, we need to inspect the vehicle at the workshop.
